Milky Way is the first colour I have tried with the mini starter kit. A nice pale pink that looks good on my short nails. Wearing extremely well. Very happy.
I discovered this brand as the NYT Wirecutter’s best performing nail polish. This is the most expensive nail polish I have ever bought but after a long break from doing my nails, I thought it was time to try again. I recently did a 10 day cruise for which I applied OPI gel like nail polish. By the end of the cruise, it had crazed on my nails and didn’t look great. I have now had Dazzle Dry on for over a week and no chipping or crazing and minimal signs of wear on the edge of nails, despite being home doing housework and cooking. I bought a pale pink colour to wear so am yet to test a red which would show wear more obviously. I used the ridge filling product as well to get a nice finish as have ‘psoriatic nails’. Without nail polish I found my nails were getting very dry so feel they are now protected from the drying effect of detergent. My nail polish also still retains a nice shine. I think I should make 2 weeks with this application without peeling or major chipping so happy for low maintenance. I’ve tried gel nails at a nail salon a couple of times and experienced peeling after a few days, so definitely prefer Dazzle Dry’s system for long lasting wear. So although expensive in Australian dollars, worth it in the long run as don’t also want UV rays on my hands. The mini pack was a good way to start as a more affordable option. I’ll keep an eye on future discounts to buy more. Will use less effective nail polishes on toes.
Love the colour! This is the perfect pink for me - no orangey tint. It looks perfect next to my (older) skin, and I have had it on for a week now. It still looks fresh.
